Giles Gyer

Giles Gyer is a UK osteopath, registered with the General Osteopathic Council since 2012, and the founder of OMT Training, a London-based provider of manual therapy courses for physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and sports therapists. He has lectured in more than 45 countries and is known internationally for teaching high-velocity thrust (HVLA) and mobilisation techniques.
Giles began his career in health and fitness with qualifications in personal training and strength and conditioning, moved into medical acupuncture, and then completed a five-year degree in osteopathy with the College of Osteopaths, graduating in 2012 with awards for clinical distinction and special achievement. A strong structural osteopath, he combines rehabilitation exercise with a range of manual techniques and treats patients from office workers to international athletes at Osteon @ Wimpole Therapeutics in London.
With Jimmy Michael he has co-written six books on dry needling, articulation and osteopathic and chiropractic technique (2016–2025). He has worked with and trained the medical teams of clubs including Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC, Arsenal FC, Southampton FC and Crystal Palace FC, as well as the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder.
